A recent example:

DevCom recently combined both development and business communication in an event for one of our clients, Doxa Deo East School and College. We assisted them with their annual fundraiser, the Festival of Joy. The proceeds of this fundraiser go towards a “parent bursary fund”, which is for families within the school that are facing financial difficulty. Not only is social development one of our main passions, but it also keeps our feet firmly on the ground. This year, the event earned the most ever, and income almost doubled from 2012. DevCom provided the following services:

• Event planning
• Project management
• Coordination with the teachers in weekly status meetings
• Sourcing and procuring a number of services and special event tricks – like big BIG cakes and loads of balloons
• Photography on the day
• Printing and designing of all promotional material and calendars sold on the day
• A hype campaign in the school before the day for 4 weeks
• Creation of a radio campaign and scripts for out-door radio broadcast

We also assist the school in implementing a full strategic communication plan on a monthly retainer basis. Doesn’t matter if you are on the side of corporate or social business in our books, we will deliver the same professional services and go the extra mile for you in a tangible manner.
